The media industry has exerted enormous influence on society for many years. Even before the invention of radio, movies, and television, printed information from newspaper, magazines, and books were a powerful force shaping how people think and behave. Webzines are also called e-magazines, e-zines ,or just zines. A webzine is a magazine that is published on the web for a wide range of readers. Some webzines are online versions of magazines, but others are available only online. Some have a large, general, readership but others are read almost exclusively by people who share a profession, a hobby, or some other interest.

Blogs, short for Web logs,have quickly swept through the Internet as an easy way to publish your journal. Be aware, anyone can read your entries and,at times, comment on the entries. the author of a blog is called blogger.
